DALTON, WHITFIELD COUNTY, GA. (WRCB)-- A Dalton man is charged with child cruelty for reportedly hitting a man, who was holding his son.
Franco Minjarez is also charged with aggravated assault.
Police say he went to the victim's home last week, because he thought the man was having an affair with his wife.
He reportedly slugged the victim in the face, while the man was holding his son.
An officer spotted Minjarez's car while on patrol, and he was taken into custody without incident.
