Some Tips for Not Getting Hacked

AVG says:

1. Do NOT accept pop-ups or prompts for software unless you have a web scanner installed,
2. Do NOT post confidential personal data.
3. Change your password every 2 weeks to a month.
4. Do NOT let others access social networks on YOUR computer.
5. Do NOT save your password and clear your history at least once a week. (I recommend 2)
6. Do NOT accept friend requests or request friends you do not know!

McAfee Site Advisor

Siteadvisor is an excellent program that checks websites for malicious activities. A Green check mark means the site has been tested and is safe to use. A Red X means there are reports of malicious activities on the site. These sites could possibly be harmful to your computer. A Yellow Caution means the site possibly has links to harmful sites. These sites aren't necessarily bad, but I would use caution. I have a link to Site Advisor on the right side of my blog near the bottom. I would recommend using this program.
