Yep. That's right. An evil dead remake is in the works and there will be no Ash.
There are two iconic faces of The Evil Dead. One is Sam Raimi,
whose comic, kinetic filmmaking was a framework in which grotesque
horror could exist side by side with Three Stooges-style slapstick. (And
so: ‘splatstick.’) The other iconic face is Bruce Campbell, whose Ash Williams character is the beating heart of The Evil Dead and, to generations of fans, the voice of a certain approach to horror.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The Future Is Rosie (2011 Cover Story & Gallery) (SFW)
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was looking for work while she was in college, so she applied for and was hired as a booker at a modeling agency. When she showed up for her first day of work, the agency heads immediately fired her as a booker and hired her as a model. Then the other models from that agency exploded.
A few years later Rosie became a Victoria’s Secret Angel, therebyentering the fantasies of millions of normal and weird men. Now she’s the female lead in Transformers.
Preparation, struggle, rejection? Bah! All jokes aside, the girl is friendly, silly, and easy to talk to. The 24-year-old Brit grew up on a farm, which goes a long way toward making someone totally normal…or completely batballs crazy. You draw your own conclusions, but at the photo shoot for this piece, she talked about killing chickens (normal, to us) and how she didn’t feel like she looked her best that day (batballs crazy, clearly).

DVD Releases For Tuesday, March 29th, 2011
Some stellar movies make their way to DVD Tuesday. Among them ...'Black Swan'
Darren Aronofsky's inspired, unsettling drama (rated R) tells the tale of a ballerina teetering on the brink of greatness and madness. The director brings out the toughness of a world that, while presenting a gentler face, is powered just as compulsively by painful physical and psychological extremes.
As Nina Sayers, Natalie Portman delivered an Oscar-winning performance as a child-woman whose fragility gradually gives way to grave self-destruction.
Nina is a member of a New York dance company when the troupe's artistic director (Vincent Cassel) taps her to star in a production of "Swan Lake." Her technical brilliance and tentative innocence make her perfect for the White Swan, but he's less sure she can pull off the ruthlessness and sensuality of her evil twin, the Black Swan. Perhaps Lily (Mila Kunis), an uninhibited, wild-eyed newcomer to the company, would be better suited?
DVD extras: "Black Swan Metamorphosis" making-of documentary; also on Blu-ray, cast profiles and two other featurettes.

Resident Evil: Mercenaries packing Revelations demo
Earlier today, Capcom at last offered a firm commitment on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, saying that the team-based, Slant Six-developed shooter will arrive for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this winter. However, that wasn't the only Resident Evil news outbreak of the day.
With the 3DS launching in most regions this weekend, Capcom whetted gamers' appetites for its own survival-horror handheld effort, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. According to the publisher, those who pick up Mercenaries 3D, which is due in the next few months, will also be granted access to a free demo for Resident Evil: Revelations.

Ten Toys That Will Make An Adult Feel Like A Kid Again
“Age is just a number.” That’s usually something you hear spilling from the mouth of a cougar, a pederast or possibly Charlie Sheen. But that doesn’t mean it’s true. Just because some of us aren’t kids anymore doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with feeling young and having some fun. I mean, sure, failing to act one’s age can have consequences – as hilariously illustrated in the series Man-Teen – but that’s no reason to don white gabardine pants and a yachting cap and retire to Boca. Balance is the key. Work hard; play hard. And to play hard requires the right equipment. That’s right, I’m talking about toys—those timeless treasures designed specifically to delight. Toys (and not just the ones you find in shady shops with lots of X’s in their names) are not just for the young; they’re for the young at heart. So, read on and recapture the joys of childhood.

Duke Nukem Delayed Yet Again
This isn’t a joke, although we wish it were. Duke Nukem Forever, the first person shooter that’s become an internet legend, has been delayed yet again. Don’t worry; it won’t be too long a wait this time. Gearbox has pushed back the game one month to June 14th.“In case you haven’t heard, Duke never comes early,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “We’re committed to deliver a laugh-out-loud, politically incorrect experience that people will talk about for years to come. We thank Duke’s fans for their continued patience – I promise this won’t take another 15 years.”

Bill Murray Speaks About Ghostbusters 3

No one's ever going to believe you. And if you're the "Ghostbusters 3" script, Bill Murray may never read you.
While director Ivan Reitman is all gung ho about a third movie in the classic comedy series, having written the script and plotted a whole future for the franchise, his biggest star isn't too hot on the whole idea.
Murray, speaking with Howard Stern, gave some rare comments about the proposed film, which hinges on his participation. He admits that Reitman has sent him over the script, but that's about as far as it's gotten.
