Police: Man smoked all his pot during stop

FOREST PARK, Ill., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Police in Illinois said a man admitted to smoking the last of his marijuana in his car during a traffic stop so officers wouldn't be able to find any drugs.
River Forest police said Giovanni Lyles-Dawson was pulled over at 6:09 p.m. Sept. 9 for allegedly driving with expired plates, and officers detected a strong odor of marijuana when they approached the vehicle, the Forest Park (Ill.) Forest Leaves reported Wednesday.
Police said they asked Lyles-Dawson to exit the car, but he instead locked his door and rolled up his window. The man's mother, Jayne Dawson, who was in the passenger seat, also locked her door and refused to exit when ordered by police.
Lyles-Dawson was eventually coaxed out of the vehicle and he allegedly told police: "I smoke weed. There's no weed in the car because I smoked it all."
Lyles-Dawson was ticketed for expired plates and arrested on charges of obstructing a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and a previous warrant for non-payment of child support.
Dawson was charged with obstructing police.

Marijana plants found in Sequatchie County

A snitch gave up the location of around 200 marijuana plants to The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office. The weed was found on Cagle Mountain where the marijuana murderers cut down the plants and carted it off. (I wonder where?) The estimated value of the precious plants is $90,000. Sheriff Ronnie Hitchcock said there are no suspects in the case and finding any suspects is highly unlikely.
